Personal data means any information that can be linked to an identified or identifiable natural person (data subject). Personal data includes all types of direct or indirect information (i.e. used in connection with other data) relating to the data subject, such as name, date of birth, addresses, e-mail addresses, telephone numbers, etc.
Collection of personal data
The data we collect includes the following:
- First name, last name
- E-mail addresses
- Telephone numbers
- Addresses of the locations from which furniture and luggage are shipped, as well as the addresses where they must arrive
- We collect data about your device and about how you and your device interact with our products.
- We collect data about the features you use and the web pages you visit on our website.
- We collect data about your IP address, regional settings and language settings.
Purpose of collecting personal data:
- informing customers about our offer for the moving services they request through the forms and applications on the www.xmovetrans.ro website or by telephone;

- informing customers/buyers about the status of their account, including validation, shipping and invoicing of orders, resolving cancellations or problems of any kind relating to an order, to the goods and/or services purchased;

The buyer’s personal information may also be provided to the General Prosecutor’s Office, the Police, the courts and other competent state authorities, on the basis and within the limits of the law and following expressly formulated requests.
Security of processing
We will process data securely and will apply and maintain appropriate technical measures to protect personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction or loss, alteration, disclosure or unauthorised access, in particular where processing involves the transmission of data over a network, as well as against any other form of unlawful processing. Customer data is stored in databases on servers located in the European Union.
In the event of a security breach, which may be an accident, a loss of data or unauthorised access, s.c. Xmovetrans srl will inform the authorities represented in Romania by the A.N.S.P.D.C.P. (National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing) within a maximum of 72 hours from the discovery of the breach.
Access to, rectification or erasure of personal data
Customers have the right to request at any time access to, rectification, erasure or restriction of processing of the data we have collected. To help us keep personal data up to date, we recommend that users inform us of any change or discrepancy.

Marketing e-mails
s.c. Xmovetrans srl has the right to send customers marketing e-mails with their consent. This specific form of consent must be freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous. These requirements are met when customers have opted in to receive marketing e-mails (active approval).
Customers will always have the right to object, on request and free of charge, to the processing of personal data for direct marketing purposes, without having to provide any specific justification.
Customers can do so by clicking the “Unsubscribe” link in the e-mails we send them, or by sending us a message at office@xmovetrans.ro. Once a customer has objected, that customer’s personal data will no longer be processed for direct marketing.
Marketing e-mails contain information we consider interesting for the customer, as well as the latest news about our products and services.
Complaints
Customers have the right to lodge a complaint regarding the processing of their personal data. All questions and complaints will be handled by us in a timely manner and in accordance with internal procedures.
In the unlikely event that customers have suffered damage due to a breach of their rights under the personal data protection policy and s.c. Xmovetrans srl has not handled the complaint properly, customers may submit a complaint to the higher authority.
